The purpose is to help managers to maximize profits from the multitude of SKUs (and services) sold by companies in their “long tails.” By studying the approaches used by “masters of complexity,” we explain how 80/20 analytics can help expand the portfolio to attract new customers, without succumbing to excessive complexity and losses.
